3 Steps to a Team Approach
1. Consultation is Key
During your initial complimentary consultation Senior Solutions will ask all the pertinent questions to better understand the type of personal care and home management required. Within this conversation questions regarding healthcare planning documents and power of attorney will be mentioned to better facilitate the care necessary. If you have not prepared your healthcare planning documents or your power of attorney Senior Solutions can refer you to their network of colleagues who are Florida Bar Board Certified Specialists in this area.
2. Communication is the key to progress
Moving through your consultation Senior Solutions will take into consideration your financial situation and discuss with you if home healthcare is affordable. At Senior Solutions we strive to make sure you utilize every possible option before you take the private pay avenue (Senior Solutions also accepts long-term-care insurance.) This means if we find an affliction you or your loved one is experiencing that is covered by Medicare (which we do not accept), we will direct you to your doctor who can write a prescription to facilitate care in your home that is covered by a Medicare company. Senior Solutions Homecare will even refer you to companies in your area that Senior Solutions feels is as caring and as compassionate as Senior Solutions, to take care of you or you loved one.

Senior Solutions' team and network can refer you to a variety of area organizations such as the Veteran’s Administration, Alzheimer's Community Care, Area on Aging, Department of Children and Families, and even help with filling out the tireless forms associated with acceptance of Aid and Attendance. If asset protection is what will help keep the well spouse living the life to which they have become accustom as opposed to spending down life savings for the ill spouse, Senior Solutions’ solution is to refer you to the network of attorneys they work closely with to protect assets and keep you and or your loved one aging at home safely. At Senior Solutions we are senior advocates first. With our clearinghouse of information let us be a solution to the many worries that can be sorted out with a simple telephone call. Of course, we are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice however, we can refer you to a network of colleagues in our area who can take the worry out of your lives and give you peace of mind.
